Modulated strip miner 2 / modulated deep core strip miner 2 != modulated deep core miner 2
The latter requires turret hardpoints, the others do not.
TL,DR If the module doesn't have the words strip miner in the name it isn't going to fit.

It's incorrectly translated from the ancient greek. The REAL saying is;

I prefer the Discworld version "Give a man a fire and he's warm for a day, but set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life"
